Chris Schmidt, D.D.S.

Dr. Chris Schmidt has been practicing dentistry for over a decade.

Photo of Dr. Schmidt.He graduated with a BS in Biology in 2003 from the University of Memphis, where he also captained the University’s men’s soccer team.  He stayed in Memphis and attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007.

Dr. Schmidt strives to stay at the forefront of dentistry.  He has taken special continuing education courses including a one-year general dentistry residency, a  Comprehensive Implant Residency Program specializing in implant placement and bone grafting, and a pediatric dentistry course. He brings with him special skills including sedation dentistry in the forms of pill sedation and IV sedation, wisdom teeth removal, and bone grafting and advanced implant placement.

Dr. Schmidt served as a dentist in the United States Air Force for 7 years before leaving the service and moving back to his wife Claire’s hometown of Davidson and joining Welborne, White, and Schmidt in 2014.

Dr. Schmidt truly enjoys dentistry and strives to make all patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.  He wants all of his patients to love how their teeth look and feel.

In his spare time, Dr. Schmidt plays soccer, runs, bikes, swims, travels and delights in being ‘daddy’ to his 3 children, Braxton, Cora and Adam.
